Why We Built This Site
Oklahoma gives the public access to many court records, but custody is distributed. Each county's elected Court Clerk keeps District Court civil, criminal, divorce, probate, guardianship, protective-order, small-claims, and state traffic files. Municipal clerks hold city ordinance cases. Sheriffs and other jail operators maintain local custody information. Statewide systems serve different purposes, including the Oklahoma Department of Corrections Offender Lookup, OSBI criminal histories, and Service Oklahoma driver records. We organize those routes and explain which official office holds each type of Oklahoma record.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Oklahoma court, Court Clerk, municipal clerk, sheriff, or state agency. There are clear limits to our role:
- We cannot file paperwork or send records requests on your behalf
- We cannot issue certified copies of any court document or vital record
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, portal, or address is current at the time of use
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
